Sock Monkey Hat....

Time to Complete: May 13th-16th.
Description: My mom's friend asked me to make her granddaughter a sock monkey hat for next winter (she will be a year in July). I was so excited that I used the "real sock monkey wool". Yes, I said real wool! I was a bit skeptical at using real wool at first but it's not too itchy. It came out darn cute if I do say so myself!

Overalls for Bunny Worrell....

Time to Complete: January, 18th, 2009-January, 20th, 2009
Description: These were an "on the fly" type of project. This means no pattern, not even a basic one. Just some wool, needles, elastic, scissors and an idea of what I wanted the final outcome to look like in my mind. I started around the waistand worked my way down the legs. Then I made the square for the chest and the overall straps. Then all that was left to do was sew it all up and add the elastic. The pocket on the right front leg was an afterthought because of a favourite little soother that sometimes get's lost. I enjoyed making this project, I only wish I had written it down....

Knitted Adult Slippers

Time to Complete: August, 15th, 2008-August, 17th, 2008
Description: These are very comfy slippers. I have made numerous pairs of these with and without the bows on top and in many different colours. These particular ones were made with 1 strand of turquoise and 1 strand of rose coloured, 4-ply wool. They are very thick and very warm. They are definetly winter slippers!
